Our Local and Global Reach

Our Impact

We are located within the San Francisco Bay Area, where we offer in-person  and virtual resources that reach a broader audience.  The diversity of the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area region is a tremendous economic asset – with 56% percent of our population representing people of color.   We recognize our Asian, Pacific Islander and Latiné communities are the fastest growing populations.  We acknowledge our Bay Area’s Indigenous populations, past and present. Despite the atrocities of colonization and genocide, our local Native communities persist today and are active in efforts to preserve and revive their cultural roots.  According to the U.S. Census, the Indigenous population in the Bay Area is 18,500 strong and is projected to grow over the next few decades.  Within our multiracial diversity, our Black Diaspora community represents a diverse cultural background, from the Americas, Caribbean, Pacific Islands, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Our current local audience reach includes an estimated 150 people in person and an estimated 20,000 virtually.  We will conduct local outreach to our 1.10% local Indigenous community which is an estimated 18,500 people strong; as well as another 19% of our Immigrant population who identifies as Indigenous, which accounts for an additional 7,897 people, and our estimated combined virtual audience which includes: 3.4 Million Regional San Francisco Bay Area audience, 1.94% Indigenous statewide audience of upwards 795 Million, nationwide audience and global audience in upwards of many more millions.
